Summer Bishil, an American actress who is famous for portraying Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy series The Magicians. Her prior role as Lebanese American young woman Jasira who is undergoing many personal trials in the context of U.S. conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's feature film Towelhead. The subsequent recognition as one of the Top 10 actors of Variety in 2007 was also a great honor. She also played a powerful character in 2009's crime thriller Crossing Over. For this actress, she won a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award under the category of Best Female Leading.
